Press release for immediate release
Thermcraft, Inc. has partnered with B.W.C.Technologies, Ltd., to further industrialize their patented LQF-technology.
The Liquid Quench Fluidization (LQF) process was engineered and developed by Thermcraft, Inc. The LQF technology is a patent-pending liquid quench technology used in the heat treatments of medium and high carbon wire products. The LQF is a Lead-free, environmentally friendly process replacing the molten lead, salt or fluidization media. The LQF process is precisely adjustable for each steel grade TT-curve and will result in a higher concentration of the desirable pearlitic structure.
Thermcraft has designed and built successful smaller scale production units. Together with B.W.C.Technologies, Ltd., full-scale production units will be built for the different product applications in the ferrous wire industry.

SPECIAL SECTION/FIRING & DRYING: Thermcraft Celebrates 40 Years
by Teresa McPherson
February 1, 2011
Over the years, the company has made several investments to grow the business. In 1982, due to increasing demand for its heating equipment, the company added a high-bay area and a 10-ton bridge crane to the facility. At the same time, space for the manufacturing of diffusion heaters for the semiconductor industry was added. An off-site warehouse was built in 1989.
"Our success is from working with the customer to provide customized, specialized products for their processing requirements," Crafton says. "We've been very customer oriented when supporting our customers; we treat them the way we would want to be treated."

Holiday Season 2011
Thermcraft continues its tradition of giving this holiday season.
Thermcraft Incorporated of Winston-Salem North Carolina and the employees of Thermcraft bring holiday cheer to Forsyth County families in need. Working together with the Salvation Army, Thermcraft will donate sixty boxes of food this holiday season. A number of Thermcraft employees have also volunteered time as bell ringers for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign. Public contributions to Salvation Army kettles enable the organization to continue its year-round efforts at helping those who would otherwise be forgotten.
"During these tough economic times when many families are in need, it is heartwarming to see our employees give donations of time, food and financial contributions to our community." Said Tom Crafton President of Thermcraft Incorporated.
Each box contains food staples that will help out families with meals for this holiday season. They will be distributed to Forsyth County families this December 2011.
The entire Thermcraft family joins together this Holiday Season in wishing you Merry Christmas and best wishes for a safe and Happy New year!
