Press release for immediate release
Thermcraft, Inc. has partnered with B.W.C.Technologies, Ltd., to further industrialize their patented LQF-technology.
The Liquid Quench Fluidization (LQF) process was engineered and developed by Thermcraft, Inc. The LQF technology is a patent-pending liquid quench technology used in the heat treatments of medium and high carbon wire products. The LQF is a Lead-free, environmentally friendly process replacing the molten lead, salt or fluidization media. The LQF process is precisely adjustable for each steel grade TT-curve and will result in a higher concentration of the desirable pearlitic structure.
Thermcraft has designed and built successful smaller scale production units. Together with B.W.C.Technologies, Ltd., full-scale production units will be built for the different product applications in the ferrous wire industry.

Over the years, the company has made several investments to grow the business. In 1982, due to increasing demand for its heating equipment, the company added a high-bay area and a 10-ton bridge crane to the facility. At the same time, space for the manufacturing of diffusion heaters for the semiconductor industry was added. An off-site warehouse was built in 1989.
