Our standard e-XPRESS LINE lab furnaces are simple to install and arrive ready to plug in and use. These furnaces feature convenient options for controllability, including easy-to-use color touch screens – much like your typical smart phone. Thermcraft’s express line products are also programmable, giving you the ability to set heating and cooling cycles to meet your needs.

We offer a total of eight e-XPRESS LINE furnaces with a choice of three configurations – box, split-tube and solid-tube. These furnaces come with standard options, and all of them can be adapted to your requirements. Each allows you to select your chamber volume, controller type, thermal profile program, data acquisition system, communications and more to achieve the highest levels of precision.

Ashing Box Furnace with Integrated Control System (1100°C)

  • Provides ideal conditions for complete combustion of test samples
  • Hinged vertical lift door keeps hot door insulation away from the operator
  • Door safety switch interrupts power to heating elements when door is opened
  • Wound wire heating elements protected by hard ceramic plates
  • Furnace chamber, heating elements, hearth plate and chamber threshold are easy to replace when needed
  • Air gap between heated chamber exterior and furnace exterior surface minimizes external surface temperature of the furnace

Box Furnace with Integrated Control System (1700°C, 1800°C)

  • Utilizes Molybdenum Disilicide (MoSi2) heating elements with free radiating U-shaped design suspended from the roof of the chamber

Solid Tube Furnace with Interconnected Control System (1200°C)

  • Continuous solid body design
  • Utilizes ceramic refractory heating elements with embedded resistance wire
  • Tube adapters can be changed by removing the end caps
  • Multiple process tube sizes can be used with one furnace
  • Excellent temperature uniformity due to the heavy ceramic refractory heating elements and continuous solid tube heated chamber
  • Process tubes can be inserted through the furnace chamber before attaching end seals.

Split Tube Furnace with Interconnected Control System, 3-Zone (1200°C)

  • Hinged body that’s split along its length
  • Simple installation of process tubes with end seals attached
  • Utilizes Fibercraft™ vacuum formed ceramic fiber heating elements with free radiating wire embedded into the body of the heater
  • Tube adapters are removable and interchangeable
  • Multiple process tube sizes can be used with one furnace
  • Single-zone models have excellent temperature uniformity
  • Three-zone models can extend the uniform flat zone by independently controlling the end zones
